A troupe of actors and technicians arrives at your school or community event to put on a show. Anticipation builds among your community.
Large tents are set up outside. Carpets, pillows, and a black-cloaked stage transform the football field, playground or similar open space into the setting for a unique theatre event. As the crowd gathers and the show starts, actors use colorful costumes stilts, movement and interactive sets to engage participants in a 35-minute show about tobacco issues. The result is far from a moral conclusion and aims at active engagement in the critical issues that surround the cigarette industry. |

During the Festival and afterwards, the website will provide a forum for questions, discussion, and answers.
Websurfers will find our Flash games fun, and plenty of new facts presented in an accessible manner. Everyone can share their own stories about tobacco use. Teachers will find information, curriculum links, and discussion ideas in our area For Educators. Students will find plenty of facts and resources for class reports, whether it's about cigarette ingredients or health effects of tobacco use. Participants in Tarnival will find the website a great place to research answers for themselves, and to share their knowledge with others. |
